His developing credits include producing songs for artists such as Keyshia Cole, Blu Cantrell, and also producing music for a number of independent artists, and TV projects. Born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands, DeShawn comes from a musical family with a very diverse musical background. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and he also likes to say that he is an ongoing student of the “Real Life Experience University”

Outside of music production and being in the studio, D has a passion for Live event support, and has traveled the country providing support for various companies and clients. He started D’NAJE Live Event Solutions to expand this effort, and also as a way to bridge the gap for artists that he works with to have quality Live Event Production Support. He also officially launched D’NAJE Vizon around the same time, which produces Behind The Scene Documentaries, music videos, PSA’s, short commercials, and his popular Studio Life Youtube series.

In his spare time, DeShawn enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, working out, and traveling. He credits God and his family with keeping him centered, and he is always looking for opportunities to grow in all aspects of his life.
